Expose - Tobacco Awareness Program and
Ottawa Technical Learning Centre

Ottawa Tech has been involved with exposé, the anti-tobacco industry campaign leaders in Ottawa, for five (5) years. The OTLC community comes from Rockland in the east to Holland Ave. in the west and from Osgoode in the South to the Ottawa River in the North. We are deeply involved with those communities through our students. We've been proud to produce many videos for exposé. These videos were shown to our own students during our Monday Morning Assemblies. Every Thursday exposé has been at OTLC bringing awareness and thought to the cigarette problem. Many students have quit smoking thanks to the exposé program at our school. We hope to continue our relationship with the exposé program.
Students Quotes when asked what they think about exposé;
Paul Masaro - "They're good and very nice!" (Big
smile)
Jimmy Jolicoeur - "I like them because I am against smoking and I don't
believe anyone should smoke"
Andrew Smith - "It's a good organization to help people quit smoking,
live longer and to reveal the tobacco industry's plans on targeting youth."
Shawn Lepage - "I believe exposé is the leading campaign in
the fight against the tobacco companies who are trying to take over youths'
lives by using subliminal advertisement in every day life. I believe their
fight is worthwhile and is greatly appreciated."
