"OTLC's Got Talent" was a collaboration by Physical Education and The Arts. R. Lockwood played the role of Producer, S. Bergin was the Director and Master of Ceremonies. The on stage staff judges were; S. Rush, M. Stoodley and N. Bainomugisha. Technical support was provided by student, J. Blair, and staff member, X. Huang. The show started with some staff performances and then moved on to the student performances in front of a large audience. We had over 40 students go through an audition process that resulted in 20 students being invited to the Grand Finale Show that lasted one and a half hours.
Our top performers in the instrumental music & singing categories each received 2 hours of professional recording studio time courtesy of the The Audio Recording Academy (T.A.R.A.) in Ottawa, the total value of which was $700! The Dance winners will also receive the opportunity for some professional dance instruction.
