Cheque Presentation

On Tuesday October 13, Mr. Robert Lockwood, OTLC Head of Health and Physical Education, presented Laurie Hinsperger, Terry Fox Foundation volunteer, with a cheque for $150 that had been raised this fall through various initiatives including the annual Terry Fox Run, Walk, Ride or Roll. This years donation brings OTLC's total contribution over the last 5 years to the Terry Fox Foundation to a grand total of $2,850! Ms. Hinsperger also spoke to the school at the weekly start up assembly about her own experiences as a Cancer survivor and thanked the school for their efforts in raising much needed funds for the fight against Cancer.
